Finally fixed my E350's rough ride after three mechanics gave up
Just wanted to share a small victory in case anyone else is chasing the same ghost. My 2014 E350 has been riding like a wagon for the past year, feeling every single crack in the road, and I've had three different shops tell me everything looks fine no leaks, no broken springs, bushings look okay. But the car just wasn't comfortable anymore and I knew something was off. I was about to sell it when a colleague recommended a place that actually specializes in these W212 suspensions. They did a proper bounce test and noticed the front struts weren't rebounding consistently even though they weren't leaking. Turns out the internal valving had just worn out over time, which apparently happens on these cars after 150k km especially with Dubai's heat. I ended up getting a veteran Mercedes suspension repair for Suspension Repair Dubai that replaced both front struts and the top mounts, and honestly it feels like a brand new car again. No more crashing over manholes, no more harshness on the highway. If your Mercedes feels off but no one can find a clear problem, don't let them just shrug at you those shocks can die internally without ever leaking a drop of oil. Cost me about a third of what the dealer wanted too.
